A stabbing attack happened today (Wednesday) in Carmiel, two were injured on the spot. According to eyewitnesses who were present at the scene, the terrorist went up to the second floor of the mall, where he attacked a group of young people staying there, a soldier staying in the area neutralized the terrorist, one of the wounded also shot the terrorist.
Spokesperson for the Rescue Union – North District: Eric Barel, a medic and the head of the Rescue Union branch in Carmiel, reported on the Jewish Rescue Union’s communication channel: “We are performing CPR on one of the victims, and there is another wounded person in moderate condition.”

MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya 2 injured people with penetrating injuries: a 20-year-old man in critical condition, undergoing CPR and a 20-year-old man in serious condition, fully conscious. At the hospital, the one in critical condition was declared dead.
Police spokeswoman: initial report of a suspected attack, a short time ago a report was received at the police headquarters about a suspected stabbing incident in the city of Karmiel during which 2 men were seriously and lightly injured (according to medical sources). The stabber was neutralized at the scene and many Northern District police forces are at the scene.
Some of the attackers relatives were arrested as part of the investigation.
The terrorist is an Arab-Israeli from a nearby town. In general, Jews and Arabs shop side by side in Carmiel without incident. This is the first terror attack of it’s type in Carmiel.
