On Wednesday, the IDF Spokesperson reported that the battle team of the 401st Brigade, which operates in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of Rafah, as part of an operation by the 162th Division in the city, has so far killed more than 200 terrorists and has located dozens of weapons in civilian homes and locations.
According to the Brigadier General Hagari, “in one of the clashes, the forces raided a building from which fire was directed, the forces scanned the building and killed the terrorist,” and “in the basement of the building, the forces located many weapons used by the terrorists who barricaded themselves in a building in the heart of the Tel Sultan neighborhood.”
It was also reported that in the battles in the area, the fighters killed terrorists who barricaded themselves in other buildings, and located 10 long-range rocket launchers intended for launching into Israel.
