An air raid by the IDF in Yemen

The IDF attacked Houthi military targets in Yemen on Wednesday and Thursday, including ports and energy infrastructure in Sana’a, the capital of Yemen, which the Houthis used for their military activities. “Israel will not hesitate to act to protect itself and its citizens from Houthi attacks,” the IDF spokesman said in a statement.

Oil facilities are on fire: “We will strike at any threat to Israel, at any distance necessary”

The IDF attack tonight was directed by the Intelligence and Naval Division, with the targets attacked tonight in the West Coast and deep Yemen – for the third time since the beginning of the war. The IDF explained that the attack against the military targets of the Houthi terror regime harms it by preventing the use of the infrastructures for military needs and terrorist needs, including the transfer of Iranian weapons to the area.

The attack was carried out against the backdrop of the cooperation of the terrorist regime in Yemen, which is working together with the Iraqi militias to harm Israel, undermine the sensitive security situation in the Middle East, and disrupt world freedom of navigation. In a hint that apparently meant to Iran, the IDF spokesman added that the army is determined to continue to act and harm anyone who poses a threat to the citizens of the State of Israel, at any distance required.

In a statement released by the IDF Spokesperson, Brigadier General Daniel Hagari, to the foreign media, he stated that the attack tonight in Yemen comes after 14 months in which the terrorist regime is issuing hundreds of missile and drone attacks against Israel. He added that “it happened again tonight,” and another missile was launched at Israel, causing millions to take cover.

He stressed that the Houthis were also directing their attacks on other countries in the Middle East, the United States and other countries, and their attacks on international vessels turned into a global threat, funded and directed by Iran.

The Minister of Defense threatened the leaders of the Houthis: The long arm of Israel will reach you too

Israeli Defense Minister Katz sent a direct threat to the heads of the Houthi terrorist organization after the attack of Israeli Air Force planes: The long arm of Israel will reach you, too. Whoever raises his hand against the State of Israel – his hand is cut off, whoever harms it – will be harmed back by the State of Israel.” Katz also made it clear that Israel would not accept rocket fire on it or damage to cruise routes. “We will strike with force and we will not allow the continuation of the situation of shooting and threats against the State of Israel,” he concluded.

President Yitzhak Herzog praised the Air Force’s service in a post posted on the X-Network. “In recent hours, we have witnessed the tremendous capabilities of the Air Force in protecting Israeli citizens and attacking Houthis in Yemen,” he said. “I thank all Air Force and IDF servants for outstanding actions and for the severe blow they inflicted on the enemy who seeks to harm us and the entire region.

Fragments hit a school in Ramat Gan tonight

In the background of the IDF attack in Yemen, there were warnings in the central area tonight due to the launching of a missile that was intercepted by the Arrow system. The IDF said that the missile was fired before it crossed into the country, but the fragments of the interceptor missile caused the warning to be activated. The interceptor missile hit an elementary school in Ramat Afal, Ramat Gan, causing the collapse of the main building at the school, as well as cars and vehicles nearby.

The Ramat Gan municipality said that “probably one of the interceptors or parts of it was that hit the school. A wide collapse has been detected in the school’s central building and the school will not be used until further notice. The studies of first-grade students and special education students will be transferred to nearby schools, the rest of the classes will be transferred to distance learning.”
