The Israeli Air Force carried out a double attack on a Palestinian vehicle in the Aqaba area in the Jordan Valley, near Tubas, in the morning hours of Tuesday, in order to eliminate terrorists who planned to carry out an attack. Two of the terrorists – Kerem Hatem Abu-Ara and Muhammad Samih Ghanam – were killed on the spot, and a third terrorist – Ayman Najah Saleh Ghanam – was severely wounded and taken to a hospital in Tubas. Later, pictures of IDF forces who entered the medical compound in an exchange of fire and arresting at least one person were published on Arab networks.
In addition, the Israeli Air Force continues to operate in the Gaza Strip, which has returned to being the main front during this period. In a targeted attack in the Nuseirat refugee camp directed by the 99th Division located in the Netzarim corridor, many terrorists were killed, including seven terrorists who took part in the attack on Israel on 7/10.
At the same time, the air force carried out an attack in Syria, on a road leading to Damascus airport. According to Syrian opposition reports, the target of the attack was a senior Hezbollah operative operating in Syria. This is the first time that Israel has attacked Syrian soil since the civil war reignited there a few days ago, and the conquest of Aleppo – the country’s second largest city – by rebel armies.
The air force also carried out attacks in Lebanon. In the area of the village of Deir Sirin, a warning attack was carried out against Hezbollah operatives. On this morning’s tour of the northern border with 146th Division officers, Israeli Defense Minister Katz sent a warning to the Hezbollah terrorist organization and the Lebanese state as a whole: “Our policy together with the IDF is clear and unequivocal – we will act with all our might to enforce all understandings of the ceasefire agreement, and we will handle the maximum response with zero tolerance… If we go back to the war we will act with force, we will go deeper, and the most important thing they need to know: There will be no more exemptions for the state of Lebanon.”
